PJ Towey Construction celebrates its 50th Anniversary!

PJ Towey Construction Ltd, a company specialising in civil engineering, road, sewers and groundworks celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2023. The Nottingham based company was setup in 1973 and have reached an incredible milestone this year.

The construction company have had a unique partnership with Hitachi Construction Machinery UK, investing in machinery for over 36 years.

PJ Towey, Owner at PJ Towey Construction Ltd commented “The reliability of Hitachi construction machinery is second to none. From the experience of purchasing each item of plant to delivery is great. The service we receive is also very efficient. In the unfortunate event of an issue with any of our fleet HCMUK are out immediately and problems are dealt with swiftly to prevent downtime.”

He continued, “After we have finished with our plant, the residual value for the Hitachi brand is very strong in the market.”

PJ Towey have invested heavily in Hitachi construction machinery, ranging from ZX-6 mini excavators to the recent ZX-7 range of medium excavators. When asked about the latest ZX-7 machinery, PJ commented “The ZX-7 machines are very good. A lot of time appears to have been taken to tailor the machines around the operator. The spacious cab makes it an enjoyable experience. Another bonus is the new ZX130LCN-7 doesn’t require AdBlue, which is one less thing for us as a company to monitor and supply.”
