Port of Tyne added to ISO certification

In 2021 we announced that HCMUK transitioned our quality, health & safety, environmental and energy management systems from our previous certification body partner NQA over to BSI. We decided to make this change so we could continue to test our processes and help us achieve best practice by partnering with an industry leader like BSI.

As part of this transition, and after the completion of both a transfer assessment and extension to scope audit we have successfully added our dedicated product support facility at the Port of Tyne into the scope of our certification covering all four ISO standards.

Following receipt of our certificates from BSI, our Director of Product Support, Stephen Creaser said: “As both the company and the Product Support department continues to grow, adding the Port of Tyne depot into the scope of our ISO certification shows HCMUK’s commitment to operating safely and sustainably. Adding this additional site onto our certification is thanks to the hard work, support, and dedication of the local depot team. We look forward to partnering with BSI to continuously improve our processes allowing us to offer the best possible service to our customers and other stakeholders”.
